I am canceling our cell phone service today!
I have had it!
My bill is averaging $300 plus a month!
A fucking month!
For what?
And before anyone lectures me, let me point you in the direction of Alex.
I am not a fan of the phone.
He’s got every clown head in town calling him up for nothing.
Those people can learn to send him email for what they need.
If I need to save up a 10-20% down payment for a house, I need to stuff that $300.00 into an envelope in my little piggy bank instead of sending it to the fat cats at cingular.
I mean business this time!
That is it.
The cell phone is out!
People can reach me at my work # or on email.
People can reach him at our home # or on his email.
And as for the old “for emergencies” quote… well my lovely cell phone has failed me in the past the two times I needed to call 911 when I was the 1st person at the scene of an accident.
Both times I was conveniently in a black out zone.
Some one remind me why a cell is a good idea?
I think a house is a better idea.
And we have tried cutting back.
I can do it, Alex cannot.
I have tried teaching him and he just can’t conserve!
This last month was the final test, I kept mine shut off, and only turned it on once every two days to check messages and him… well… *Shakes head*
Let’s just say he used 985 minutes, which is down from his usual 1400!
I used 193!
Big difference!
