So some good news came today for Alex!!
A possible infomercial documentary needs filming and a job call from the OC.
Nice start too the lunar new year.
He's looking really nice too, in new jeans and a haircut.
=)
now as for me,
I'm now nursing a new head cold.
I need a shovel soon to bury myself, LOL.
I have been sick for over a month now.
It's gloom and doom at work, though we are getting plenty of new orders and customers so honestly I don't know what the hub bub is all about.
Sure it's not 50 mill but geez, people ARE still buying $200.00 jeans so everyone needs to relax.
Walking helps me chill.
I take a 3 mile walk around mayberry (Culver City) everyday.
I can it mayberry because people are overly friendly and it's not common here to say hello to people walking down the street, let alone wave... that just insane. =D

Today is the Doo Dah parade in Pasadena.
For those that don't know it's a bit of a mockery of the Rose Parade and it's been going on for about 32 years now.
I kind of want to go, but Alex is glued to the football game.
I'm trying to find fun free things to do in around town.

Today is the 15th anniversaryof the 94 Northridge quake.
Crazy.
That was a very scary day.
I was living in a penthouse in West Hollywood on the top floor.
Our place was built on stilts hanging off the side of a hill.
We shoot so hard we seriously thought the building was going to crumble with us in it.
It was like 4:20 am or something.
Screaming huddled in the corner.

3 airports.
2 planes.
9 people.
5 days of snow everywhere!!
4 States!
and 1000 plus miles of road in two days and we are home!
Also assisted 2 flipped over cars, and one family stuck in a snow ditch.
Called 911 at least 10 times trying to get service... no service in the mountains (like hello, don't you need it the most out on what they call "the devils spine" snowy ass two lane mountain road)...mc fly??!!
Have been sick with fever, coughing, stuffy head the entire time.
But we had a BLAST!!!
Loved every minute of it... Idaho was AWESOME!!
We had our first ever White Chistmas and first ever with our extended family.
We loved it!!
I will definitely go visit again.
But I am sooooo happy to be home.
I kissed the ground when I came in... I have a new found love for this city.
And a whole new game plan for 2009.

I need to go buy waterproof boots for my kids.
I'm not going to have a repeat of the Big Bear insident were Amoura's toes almost froze off because I didn't realize how wet snow is.

Atom just went shopping in his room for a present for his elmo.
He chose two action figures, we found a box and wraped it up in the holiday paper.
It's now under the tree, next to the boxes of build a bear clothes and skates that we wraped earlier for Amoura's bear Formula One.
LOL
Im not getting presents but the bear and elmo are.

HOLLYWOOD - Santa Claus is coming to town today for the annual Hollywood Santa Parade and Winterfest, which will include performances from Disney Channel actress and singer Demi Lovato.
The parade will begin at the corner of Hollywood Boulevard and Highland Avenue at 5 p.m. Winterfest, an all-day street festival, will start at 11 a.m. Lovato, who co-stars on Disney's "Camp Rock" with the Jonas Brothers, will perform.

We have now had two thanksgivings!!
Just got home from the inlaws.
I have been smart enough to just nibble at both! =D
Tho' I have been drinking 1800 margarita's like a fish...LOL.
Just called in the babysitter, Im going to dance my ass off tonight! Woot.
Guest List, drink tickets...vip bitch. LOL
Im pumped.
